The Santa Berta wines are aged in adobe cellars dating back to 1900. At that time, the grapes came from the «Cocharcas», «El Chasco» and «Santa Laura» farms, owned by Pedro Pablo Medel Mercado, who He settled in the Itata Valley until his death in 1938.

With the death of Medel, the grapes began to disappear in the land and almost 70 years had to pass before the Errázuriz Domínguez family, in 1997, decided to make a vine germinate again. This time, under a new name, cultivating new vines and implementing state-of-the-art technology at its centenary wineries.

Nowadays, the Millapel Estate invites visitors to walk through the historic corridors of a patronal house that preserves its colonial essence, with a chapel open to the community that helps to keep alive the memories of the different strains that have existed in the place since 1900, but today, rejuvenate with Merlot vines, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, among others.
